Roll belt 450 ss question

I've tried researching and I'm not coming up with anything. I just got a brand new rb 450 bale slice this spring. It came from a reputable dealer in our area. I stressed to him that I needed a silage special. He said the bale slice modole is a ss. I'm pretty new to this and the only baler I've really looked over is a 7060 ss that my friend owns. His has wipers on the rolls. This baler does not. Did they change something on these new balers where wipers are not needed?
