Vermeer tm850 gear box issue

Gear box on top of mower is pushing oil out breather / vent plug. The gear box is brand new mowed about 20 acres and box was out of oil. It is pressuring up so I changed out the plug with one that has no restriction and it literally blows oil out. Temp is running about 165 degrees
