Manure Spreader or Manure Pile

i have a 5 acre piece of property with two horses, and plan for a couple cows. Right now I have a huge manure pile. Just keeps getting bigger. I have been looking at the idea of a manure spreader...

Which is better? Or is it more about what's your end benefit...
