So my neighbor has 200 acres of wheat he's getting ready to combine. he's going to cut it 6 in off the ground and wanted to know if we'd bale the straw on shares.
Only thing is neither one of us has done that (just baling) and don't know what a fair precentage would be? When we put up hay on shares (cut/rake/bale) we always ask for 60% which is the going rate around here.
So maybe 30% for just baling only? What do you guys think?
