I have a New Holland 1112 used for many years. The other day mowing hay it came up with a new problem. The header kept raising not floating but raising up you had to keep lowering the header to keep it on the ground. I checked the spring tension it should be about 55lbs and that's what it seemed to be. I'm going to take some spring tension off and see if that helps unless some one has a better idea.The header valve hasn't want to work just right this year but it has been a problem with making the header float not a problem with the header staying down.
