I'm looking at purchasing a used 2006 Hesston 946 round baler. I know their newer balers have the option of a soft-core valve kit - was/is this option available for this older model baler?
This is the option that allows you to start a bale with a soft core, then kicks the pressure on after the bale reaches a certain size so the rest of the bale is more compressed like normal. Mostly used when baling hay that is a bit damp so that the center of the bale can breathe and dry out.
Can a soft-core valve be added to a Hesston 946 round baler?
