John deere 724 mulch finisher

Hi guys...just starting out and I have one of these mulch finishers available to me and was wondering if anyone has used them in plowed sod before...and what kind of results they had. I am looking to reseed right back to a grass mix. I believe they are supposed to be for corn to corn work or something similar, but I haven't found a good set of disc close to me yet. Any and all advice is appreciated! Thanks
