Yesterday at Joplin steers 450 to 650 LBS 15 to 25 dollars higher. Hefiers 450 to yearlings 10 to 15 dollars higher. Just have to wait and see what the trend is after 4 weeks of declines. Maybe they realized any lower and those that paid 3500.00 to 4K for replacement hefiers and 3000.00 for bred cows was going to really hurt, but who knows. Bet some bankers were squirming in their chairs'.
