Buffered Acid applicator for small square baler

Why can't I save some $ and complication and just buy a 24 gal ATV sprayer, mount it , set up spray nozzles across the width of pick up and operate it with a simple on/off toggle switch in the cab? Turn it on when baling, off when not. Never used any of this stuff so any education will be appreciated
