Self leveling loaders

The JD 6420 I'm looking at buying comes with a JD 673 self leveling loader. I have never used a self leveling loader and am concerned I won't like it. I don't like the reduced visibility from the cab with the extra frame rail and the extra wear/maintenance points. I can kind of see the benefit of a self leveling loader for scooping material but I don't use a loader for that........almost all I use a loader for is to load bandit bundles out of the field. How will a self leveling loader work for that application?
