Double twine on square balers

I forget where I read it but somebody was having issues with running two twine through one knotter instead of one each side one... of the responses to that problem was a guy that was doing that on purpose for a bale thrower using 9000 foot sisal twine. he said it was stronger then the thicker twine when doubled up. has anybody done this? is it worth doing? I had a small issue with some Bales breaking last year and thought this might have been a good solution
