Hi All,
So this spring my dad (with my objections) rushed to plant alfalfa on a field that was still just a little too damp, this obviously left some rutting where he drove... My question is, has anyone had any luck with pasture aerators helping to smooth out fields? The ruts aren't horribly severe to the point of needing to re-work the field and the stand is doing well, would aerating benefit from a smoothing standpoint or would I do more harm than good to an immature stand of alfalfa? Thanks for any input/ideas
