New Holland BW 28 Loses Power.

My uncle has a BW 28 balewagon, it runs fine at low rpms and swell for a couple loads.  Then it loses power and smokes like a chimney when it gets warmed up.  Checked the air filter, and new fuel filter on it so we are at a loss.
