Every year as the monsoon rains come we have a white mold show up in our alfalfa field. It starves the plant that then browns out but doesn't die. Treatment is ridiculously expensive. This year we lightly over seeded a BMR sorghum in the field. Our crop advisor droned the field, you can see the mold, you can't really tell it but the BMR is 2' tall and filled in the patch keeping our cattle feed tonnage OK. The mold goes away as we dry out.
