What size V rake works best to pull 2 windrows together from a NH1411 disc mower. Heavy alfalfa / grass hay in Northern Illinois, will be round baling with a Vermeer 605M. My local dealer suggests a 12 wheel v rake set at a sharp angle. I am concerned that is too wide. Not sure if a 8 wheel is wide enough. I have never operated a V rake, always used a side delivery roll bar rake.
