How do you adjust the stubble height from a 3 pt disc mower.We tried one when they first came out but felt it cut the grass too close to the ground.Traded back for a second Haybine.
I have since read comments about raising the tilt of the cutter bar with the top link similar to what could be done to make an old sickle bar cut longer but I can't see how the blade angle on the back side wouldn't be cutting grass as it exited underneath the cutter bar.
What am I not seeing here? Or is installing a high skid shoe the answer.I think I'd rather go Discbine but may have to settle for disc mower.
