Got a question for you,Over here in Panola county I have had two producers that have lost some of their tifton 85,just them 2 is all I know of and I planted it for them a few years ago and they were good hay fields but they use a lot of chicken litter,in this sandier ground is it possible for them to have too much potash or phosphorus? They have taken a soil test but didnt say if those were high just said they recommended 100 units of nitrogen after each cutting, could the soil be out of balance enough to harm the bermuda grass? I dont like chicken litter you never know what you are getting and today what they mix with the feed who knows?
