I have a few field that are ready to cut. But it is dry yards are turning brown grass is dying. The heat index is running over 100 closer to 110-115 for the last 4 weeks. Would it be better to just let it go a little longer and try for some rain or cut it. I cut one yesterday and it looks rough hay is drying in one day. I cut 5 acres at 8 in the morning and baled that afternoon at 16% moister.
