Adjustments on new RTV

mardi 28 juin 2016

New to the forum, I'm considering pulling the trigger on a RTV-X1140 purchase and I'm looking for recommendations. After doing some reading on the forum I'd guess that there is a short list of things that should be adjusted/tuned on the RTV by the dealer prior to taking delivery to optimize performance. Following is a list of adjustments I've seen recommended so far:

-First is the link between your foot and the engine/hst linkage.
The large HST Linkage on the side of the transmission needs to
reach max travel when your pedal reaches it's maximum travel

-Sync accelerator pedal and HST linkage

-Engine Throttle
when the pedal reaches the floor or max travel, the fuel pump lever
should just reach max travel

-HST Lever
The other side of the HST Linkage is hooked to the HST Lever.
And to adjust it the manual says to unhook the HST rod from the lever,
move the lever forward towards the cab until it stops. Mark the case,
reconnect the HST rod onto the HST Lever, then step on the accelerator pedal and when at full throttle your lever should be just .040th shy of wide open. (Accelerator pedal, the hst linkage, the fuel lever and the hst lever.)

-Servo Adjust Screw

-Neutral (Differential) Screw Adjustment
Manual says 0 to 3 lbs difference between P1 and P2

-VHT Pressure Relief
Meant to release the residue pressure off the HST

-Increased Bypass Pressure to 3840 psi (3900-4000psi)

-Transmission

-Brake Cam Lever

-Synchronize the engine and HST

I'd appreciate any comments/corrections or development of a new list.
Thanks in advance for comments and apologies for ignorant redundancies.
Good site, good information.
