Hay Perservative Nozzle Location on JD Small Square Balers???

Harvestec recommends on a JD small square baler to mount the hay preservative spray nozzles from their applicator on the inside/angled face of the baler sheet metal where the packer fork slots are located - just before the hay is pulled into the bale chamber. This looks to me to be a logical location, but it's easy to fill that area overflowing. Two concerns: 1) If the hay is packed into the packer fork area - overflowing, how can the nozzles possibly make a decent spray pattern on the broad area of the hay flowing through the baler? 2). The nozzles look to me like they would catch hay and/or plug as the hay is moved toward them.

Those of you that have JD balers, where are you locating your hay preservative nozzles?
