case 8540 inline baler

I real all the posts here and have used lots of it to improve our operation. Thank you.

I had the chance to get an case 8540 inline baler from my uncle. low bale count . not used in 12 years. always put in shed. First question is before baling what should I do to it. Then what do I need to watch for. Never had a inline baler  but always  wanted one for our alfalfa. Also the man who did our brome used one and his bales were perfect. I saw once that someone here talked about spraying PAM cooking spray in it and on the chute. any thoughts on all this would be very much appreciated.
