I recently bought a forklift with a set of gapples on it. Then I took a flat sheet of steel and raised it level with the truck and put 2 big bales to stack against. I can go 6 wide 6 high before I push it in and the are bale wagon stacks. I can shove 3 sets in and the I can't push any more with my Case Ih 7130. I took out the top layer by hand and crawled in and my bundles are twisting to the side. I was curious if anyone had loaded vans this way and how the do it. I am loading 14x18 bales of orchard/alfalfa and straight alfalfa weighing 70 lbs each. I use to load cattle trucks but my help is getting to old and are wanting to slow down.
