Its been a tough week mechanically wise:
Last week I broke the chain brake on my big Stihl Chainsaw and while I am not a huge safety kind of guy, one thing I refuse to do is operate a big chainsaw without a chain brake on it.
At the same time my smaller Husqvarna refuses to start. It will un once it starts but no matter what I do to prime, choke, full throttle it, it still would take between 7 and 17 pulls to start. I'm a logger, I can't have that, so off to the shop it goes.
The shop is a great, but the guy I need to see, and a good Christian friend who does a lot for the children's christian camp I work at, was on vacation. So I had to wait a week, but knowing how bad I need a chainsaw they loan me one. I was able to cut 15 cord with it, but then after pinching it in a tree, I pushed the tree over with my dozer and broke my borrowed chainsaw! Drat!
That is on top of my broken Kubota whose front axle I stripped the splines in last week so I am down to pulling wood with my bulldozer, normally its job just being to make paths through the woods for my little Kubota.
My truck driver he owes me a ton of money for wood hauled to the mill, and called me last week saying he had the money, but forgot to leave it at his dads and has it in his pocket. So he's halfway across the state with several weeks checks in his pocket.
What a week!
