Anyone on here a Gehl mixer guy? Reason i ask, I'm looking for a good source on the hammers (and to find the right part number for them). I bought a Gehl 125 from a neighbor who's late husband bought it new. Not a lot of wear, but some of the hammers are chipped up (probably rocks in hay). What ones aren't chipped aren't worn to a great radius. I'm ultimately replacing a New Holland 355 that's working great, but that doesn't have an inlet auger, so is more work (filling tubs out of a gravity wagon and lifting and pouring, or scooping ear corn when i have it instead of shell corn). And the Gehl has hydraulic augers and is a good bit nicer condition than my NH. Thing i'm having trouble with is the hammer part number and where to source them from. The manuals are online, both parts manual and operators manual (which has a service section in the back). The part number for the hammers (64 of them) is different in the parts manual versus the service section of the owners manual. Parts manual lists 2E4D as the hammer part number, and Owners/Service manual lists 2E34. I don't know what to assume on that. I see 2E34 listed in many places to buy a set of 64, but i don't see 2E4D anywhere. Thought I'd ask around on some forums.
Thanks, Russ...
