Near the end of June I planted 10 acres of mixed hay in a field that was in beans last year. It was a mixed hay with a good amount of smooth Brome. Took quite some time to green up. Went to check it out this morning and was surprised to see that it was mostly ragweed. I planted about the same amount last year and those fields are producing some very good hay. The ragweed is just starting to form seed. How can I save this field? Let it get a little taller, then cut it before the the seed matures? Is there a herbicide that would only target ragweed? Have not used herbicides on any of the other hayfields. The neighbor had the beens in the field last year and I would imagine it was sprayed quite heavy, Any help would be appreciated. Dan
