Does drought affect the ability of alfalfa to dry down after it is cut? We have had a miserable time trying to get alfalfa dry here the last two cuttings, and most of it is suffering the effects of insufficient moisture. Our humidities have been fairly high this summer though. Seems to hit 30% and refuse to get much dryer.
