I'm using a JD 336 to bale for my first year here. The owner told me "It likes it PTO shafts", and he actually had a spare to carry along. Two loads in yesterday, it spit a shaft. Looks like it was partially broken previously, and just finished itself off. Happy to have the spare, I put it on and kept going. Was this an issue with these particular balers, and is there a heavier/better option than replacing with the same style?
