Repair, replace, or run with it?

JD 730 Moco hitch. Ball is supposed to rest on drawbar extension so hitch can rotate/flex around it. As it is now ball is loose and hitch is resting on extension. Ball now is acting almost like a large pin. Hitch is not wore enough on bottom to come up off of ball.

Repair it. Not sure how to "refit" ball so it can support hitch. Any suggestions?

Replace it. Couldn't find any parts except to replace the whole hitch. Looked up on jdparts but couldn't find price. Got to believe it's high. Hate buying whole hitch when just the ball is loose.

Or run with it. Hitch is still secured with not much play. Should I just use it till play is too much or there is potential for hitch to come off, then replace the whole thing.
