I'm doing some work on a friends baler, and I am a long ways from home and my service manual. Replaced all the plunger bearings and rails, and I can't remember the clearance numbers for the lower right rail to stationary knife, and minimun clearance for the knives with the plunger held over tight. Rather not do them by feel if I don't have to.
On a slightly different topic, it irritates me to no end when the nh dealer him and his father have spent many tens of thousands of dollars at over the years, isn't even willing to photocopy a couple pages out of a service manual for a loyal customer.
