I have rented a OG hayfield that is in need of reseeding due to an abundance of other grasses and a few weeds. The field is sloped substantially so I would prefer to drill only rather than cultivate. I have planned to spray with roundup and over seed into the declining stand. How long should I wait after spraying to drill in some orchard grass? Would I be better off to just harvest the mixed grass and seed in the fall? Any recommendations?
