Rotating a couple of fields into new hayfields in prep for some of the older fields to go into a corn/soybean rotation next year. New fields were in corn last year, and was pondering trying to reduce the heavy tillage as we prep it for seeding. In the past, I've generally moldboarded the stover under, then disced and prepped as normal, for those of you who use min/notill for your operations, how do you rotate your fields in without having your first cut be full of stalks?
