New holland tedder thoughts??

We have been looking for a tedder for a while now and know very little about them since hardly anyone around here has one. We bought a 19 foot new holland H8080 and aren't sure what size we need to do two swathes at once. A guy I know is selling his new holland 3836 proted and I am wondering how it would work for this in heavy alfalfa/grass mixes. Also looking for opinions on durability and such. Any and all advice/opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance.
