Finally going to pull the trigger and buy a BHT-2 moisture meter and an applicator for the BR740A round baler. Any install tips other than following the directions?
-On the BHT-2 is there a connector is disconnect wiring at the hitch? or do you disconnect at the monitor in the cab? Anyone pull the electric for the system off the 3 wire Case IH monitor plugs? Enough juice to do that?
-Also looking to get the Dohrmann applicator. I assume that should wire straight to battery since its higher current draw. Where do you guys install sensor pads? I see you can either go on tailgate or main frame. I am thinking main frame would be easier for the wiring.. Any other pointers?
