I have a Bushhog brand 3210. Heavy old model. built like a tank. a year or so ago, I had a mishap and caught a rock just so and bent one of the transfer drive shafts which the dealer replaced but it is not the same as the original, it is slightly larger.
Today, I was bushhogging a couple of paddocks, light work. the dang thing was shaking the tractor but did not appear to be shaking itself from the cab. the tractor is a JD6115M. I have a policy of not getting out of a tractor when a bushog is running, just feels like the right thing to do. There is a little play in several of the cross assemblies and I don't remember it shaking the 60 horse 5075M the last time I bushhogged. Any ideas as to where to start looking or do I just start rebuilding the driveshaft?
