Dry conditions

After having record rainfall amounts through winter and spring it has dried up. I need to cut but it’s so dry I have been waiting for some rain which doesn’t appear to be coming. So my question is has the hay lost nutritional value from being so dry and if so I assume I should wait for rain? Or should I go ahead and cut it? I will be feeding horses with it and it’s fescue.
