I recharged the density system on my 504 back in the spring after a fitting had became loose and it lost charge. It did fine 1st and 2nd cutting (about 350 rolls) running at 800-1000 psi. At about 50 rolls into the 3rd cut today I noticed that the gauge (also replaced in the spring) is not going back down to zero after a roll is dumped and the gate is closed. One density cylinder was not quite pulling completely back (retracted) after the recharge. Is this a sign of a bypassing cylinder?
I have had no problems starting a roll like I think I would if there was pressure pushing against the starter roll.
