We are into our 2nd year with our Kuhn 10802 tedder. We have had several problems with it in the first year. The tires wore only on one side and they sent us an update for that, then we had folding problems and leaking cylinder housing. The small field wheels will pivot and allow you to angle tedder so not to throw hay out off the field edge. One of those wheel shafts has seized up. I have been told this is a problem. Machine is out of warranty but Kuhn agreed to provide some of the parts but no labor. Not overly happy with our dealer, they seem to want to charge a lot of money to fix. We have taken it apart ourselves and are having problems getting the shaft that seized up out of the rotor gearbox. We had to cut the wheel support off with the torch but I am concerned about getting too much heat at this gear box. Any one else had this issue?
