Fall Alfalfa seeding tips

Hi guys,

So i have a field that is 11 Acres, We missed our spring seeding so now we have some work ahead of us. I plan to brush hog the field ( lot of Foxtail growing) then hit it with some Round Up. Now my question is should i hit the field with the Chisel Plow and disk about 10 days after i spray ? or do you think i should let everything burn off from the RU and then seed over what is killed off? Next questions i have is since i have never done a fall seeding should i just plant my alfalfa without or with a cover crop? i was thinking of putting some Annual Rye with it but wasn't sure? also how many pounds of seed per acre i was going with 15-18# and i was going to put about 2# or orchard grass with it.  Also I'll be seeding everything down with a Brillion seeder.
