Hesston 745 not cutting twine

I am new to baling hay, and recently purchased a one owner Hesston 745 round baler with auto wrap with about 3,000 bales on it. I baled a small patch just to try everything out, and found that my twine knife is not cutting the twine. All my tension plates are adjusted per owner manual specs, and I am using what was sold to me as good quality twine ( I have known the man at the ag store for several years and he has always done me right. I just ordered a replacement twine knife. Does anybody have any other ideas?
