I planted Alfalfa last fall and ran out of seed before I could finish planting. I took the first cutting 2 weeks ago and was convinced the seeding was a not going to turn out. Fertilized and got rain the alfalfa is really better then I expected. the only problem is where I planted later is almost bare, I am going to try to reseed seed the bare spots with a broadcast seeder this fall and see if it works. Has anybody else tried this and how did it work.
