Mower predicament

I've got a 1209 moco that needs some work with the conditioning system. Both drive shafts need minor work and the conditioners are around 70%. I recently found a good deal on a Kuhn disc mower that needs roughly 1400 in repairs. I figured none the less if it won't work with for my operating I'll sell it and make money. What would be the best way for me to proceed? I just started last year making small squares for horse hay. I also have a tedder to help with drying, my main issue is I only have 4 days to cut and dry.
