Wheel rake for silage?

Im looking to buy a new rake, and I Bale almost all first cutting balage with a new Holland 848, 4 foot pickup, And cut with a 488 9 foot cut. I try to Bale 2nd and 3rd cut small square bales if the weather let's me. I was set on a krone 38t but I talked to a guy running a nh 1022 procart and he said he rakes hay with it for balage, now my head is spinning on which way to go. Will the wheel rakes pick up heavy 1st cut for balage?
