I am lacing up some 10" belts on my Vermeer 504G. I am using braided cable. What I want to do is to put a J-loop at *both* ends. What I'm doing is pushing the cable all the way through with about 1" sticking out on each end. I then try to push the loop back into the belts. This is proving very difficult. I've tried other strategies, none very satisfactory. Since I can find no one talking about this, I presume I am missing something "easy." How do you guys connect cable to the lacing. Are you using only one J-loop. Is there a trick that I am missing?
