Shock protection ugrade for NI5212 disc mo-co

Hello:

 

Could you please help me find if there is a way to install some shock protection for the individual disc gear drives on a NI5212 disc mo-co.

I busted a set of gear on mine by hitting a piece of log while cutting a new field and it is quite an expensive and time consuming job to refurbish the damaged component.

I searched on the web and saw the MF produce a mo-co model 1359 based on the New Idea concept but it seems to have some kind of design weak point in the vertical shaft the rotate the disc. Are these compatible with my machine?
