M7060 and disc mower question

I only have one remote that is double actting with with detents. I have a Kuhn GDM 600 II HD with a single acting cylinder. Does anyone happen to know if the double acting remote will float or do I need to add a 2!nd remote that has a float setting? The manual is somewhat confusing.
