We traded our NH 315 baler with a pan kicker for a 1990 NH 575 with a 72 belt thrower so we could get more capacity and have a newer baler. I want to change the gear box oil- can anyone tell me what the capacity is as the end of the level check plug is broken off and I have no idea if there is the right amount of gear oil in the gearbox now? I also want to change the oil and filter for the 72 thrower- will it self prime after the change or is there some procedure I have to go through?
