This was the second cutting for this field, it was super clean coastal, cut a little over 5 weeks since the last cutting. Very few seed heads. Put 90 pounds N per acre on it after the first cutting. Point being, this is not ditch hay.
If it hadn't been rained on, I would have priced it for at least $60 a bale for the 4' x 5.5' round bales.
Of course it's bleached out now, so it doesn't look great.
Any ideas on how to price these bales?
