Reese 2070 vs 2400

I have searched the forums for info on drum mowers. Our hay fields can be a bit bumpy and rocks are present.  My tractors are a 3400 Kubota, about 2500 lbs and 30 PTO and an AC 5050 4wd with 55 hp weighing in at 4800 lbs. no front weights.I am looking at the Reese 2070w and a 8' model the 2400. The rep says both my tractors can run either , even the big 8foot sweep 2400. He says the biggest issue is how heavy the hay is. Our hay is grass .5 to 1 ton an acre. Some posts on this forum say I need bigger tractors. I just do custom haying on smaller fields like 10-30 ac.When these mowers are folded they can tip up the front wheels I gather but I normally trailer them in and as long as I can load them without tipping over I will be happy. Question is who is right and what should I get?
