Some how picked up a piece 3" in diameter made of cherry and green.... blew the knives into pieces. Anyway poop happens.. 150$ later and back in business. I found that they are a piece of cake to shim when the plunger is extended so the knives are over each other. It was easy as hell too shim and tighten the plunger bolts this way from the slots by the knotters. Took me about 30 minutes to replace. Easy peasy!
