Using a fork truck to move 900lb square hay bales

I need to move approx 30 large squares of hay from the shipper into my barn. This barn has terrible access with a tight turn to enter, and a small area (20'x20') to store the hay. My question is if a rented fork truck would be able to do the job for me. Related to this question, is if a bale spear attachment can be used on a fork truck? Thanks
